Reality Reduced has been closed.

Reality Reduced existed from 2007 to 2011, as a one man enterprise. It was attempt to build a regular following on Blip.TV and later YouTube of N scale modelers in an effort to encourage more people to make videos of model train events, their home layouts, and share how-to videos from their modeling expertise. While the videos drew moderate interest, it was never enough to support the level of effort going into making the videos.

I am still a strong believer in using online tools to share modeling expertise, and sharing videos in particular. If you miss Reality Reduced consider making your own short video and sharing it online. Even if only a small percentage of modelers took this step there would be thousands of videos online.

There are currently no plans for Reality Reduced to return. I hope to reuse the name in the future for other modeling related ventures.
